About The Position

Responsible for the planning, procurement, and management of raw material and CMO products to ensure manufacturing commitments are achieved while supporting inventory and sales objectives. Represents the company professionally and ethically as a purchasing agent.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field, or a combination of education and related experience.
2–3 years of experience in purchasing, materials management, production planning, or similar fields.
Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must demonstrate ability to exercise sound judgment, be well organized, take initiative, be flexible
Must work well under pressure, work effectively with both employee and management and be able to facilitate resolution of complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to apply sound procurement practices and principles and provide solutions to procurement and purchasing issues.
Previous working knowledge of MRP or equivalent system is preferred.
Prior SAP experience is preferred

Nice To Haves

Experience in medical device or regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate MRP to procure and schedule raw materials and CMO products in accordance with procedures.
Provide timely and appropriate material availability information to internal customers.
Establish and maintain supplier relationships; take corrective action as appropriate.
Align inventory with plant objectives and targets.
Participate in projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and product introductions as assigned.
Maintain SAP parameters to ensure data integrity.
Resolve receiving discrepancies, invoices, and supplier returns.
Work closely with internal customers to communicate and follow up on issues related to purchased goods and services.
