About The Position

The Buyer is responsible for expediting and placing stock and non-stock orders, following up with customers, handling emergencies, complaints, returns, credits and pricing discrepancies. Manages multiple duties while working suppliers, visitors, and customers. Responsible for procuring and expediting in excess of $100 million of WakeMed's stock and non-stock operating budget.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 2 Years Supply Ordering and Expediting Preferred
• 2 Years Customer Service Preferred
• 2 Years Healthcare Preferred

Nice To Haves

• Certified Supply Chain Professional Preferred
• Certified Materials & Resource Professional Preferred
• Certified Professional in Supply Management Preferred
• Associate's Degree Preferred
