If this sounds like you, we should talk. JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a Buyer to support supply chain and procurement activities. The Buyer will focus on the procurement of services, components, custom manufactured materials, and other supplies related to company operations, customer projects and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on complex technology.

  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation Experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and purchasing software
  • Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
  • Ability to utilize and suggest improvements to processes
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent technical communications skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or related field
  • 5+ years' experience as a Buyer, materials management or similar role
  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, Electronic, or Aerospace industry background
  • Previous experience working on DoW and other USG development and deployment programs
  • Ability to hold and maintain a USG Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret BoMs, identifying part types, alternates, shortages, and sourcing requirements
  • Ensures materials are available to meet manufacturing build requirements.
  • Manage supplier lead times, escalate risks, and maintain accurate material coverage.
  • Review supplier IO plans, track material status, and propose mitigation strategies for delays
  • Resolve operational issues related to POs, invoicing discrepancies, and ERP master data.
  • Support prototype builds, development builds, and production ramp activities through proactive material readiness management
  • Setup new suppliers and maintain supplier database
  • Maintain open P.O. report in ERP system
  • May assist inventory team with floor stock inventory (KANBAN)
