About The Position
YOUR JOB: You’ll be responsible for procuring materials, equipment and services needed by Rockland teams to create the best heavy attachments made in the US! Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 4 years purchasing/procurement experience required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an automated manufacturing environment preferred
- Purchasing experience preferred
- Epicor ERP experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Identifying and ordering parts/materials for stock
- Communicating supply issues to internal departments
- Assist with making strategic purchasing decisions
- Resolving supplier non-conformance issues
- Resolving material shortage issues
- Following up on orders and shipments
- Reviewing purchase orders to guard against duplication, pricing, or other errors
