About The Position

The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods from various suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering preferred or equivalent education and work experience.
• Minimum 7 years in related electronics manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of military requirements.
• Ability to interpret drawings.
• Ability to work in fast-pace contract manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving results in a team based and collaborative environment.
• Must be comfortable in challenging 'status-quo' and able to recommend solutions.
• Basic understanding of the International Standards.
• Strong analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Quote customer turnkey, assembly and control inventory.
• Process purchase orders and expedite backlogs.
• Interface with Quality, Material, Production, Receiving/Shipping, Engineering and Customer Service Departments.
