Requirements

  • 2–6+ years of experience as a vehicle buyer, wholesaler, or inventory manager
  • Strong understanding of wholesale auctions and used vehicle markets
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable making data-driven decisions
  • Track record of hitting volume and margin goals
  • High urgency and strong ownership mentality
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Passion for EVs and the future of transportation
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience buying on Manheim, ADESA, ACV, and other digital auction platforms
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Comfort using pricing tools, dashboards, and internal systems
  • Ability to analyze market comps, MMR, Black Book, and live auction data
  • CRM or inventory management system experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Source high-quality electric vehicles through wholesale auctions, direct sellers, dealer networks, and alternative supply channels
  • Own daily buying decisions using Ever’s pricing practices, market data, and AI-driven tools
  • Analyze auction lanes, market trends, and pricing signals to identify the best opportunities
  • Execute purchases across Manheim, ADESA, online marketplaces, and direct seller pipelines
  • Build relationships with auction partners, wholesalers, and fleet operators
  • Hit weekly and monthly volume, margin, and quality targets
  • Collaborate closely with reconditioning, logistics, and merchandising teams
  • Provide real-time market feedback to Product and Data teams to improve buying tools
  • Constantly test new sourcing channels and strategies
  • Maintain a high-quality, EV-first inventory mix
