Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or commensurate years’ of experience in a Buyer / Purchaser role
Several years of experience as Buyer / Purchaser and / or Inventory Planning within a manufacturing related environment
Experience in vendor management
Efficient in using MS Office products
Fluent English skills

Nice To Haves

SAP, ERP experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Manage the order fulfillment process including purchase order entry, purchase order administration, and expediting incoming product
Responsible for the creation and setup of new vendor master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Monitor purchase order delivery dates to ensure alignment with supply chain schedules and customer requirements
Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and build and maintain strong relationships
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking, and manage reorder points
Analyze market trends to make cost-effective purchasing decisions and manage budgets
Execute the purchase order tracking process and ensures purchase orders are processed in accordance with the organization’s customer satisfaction and performance standards
Proactively communicate changes in material needs, lead times, or inventory levels to support agile decision-making across the supply chain
Track changes in business needs and adjust order quantities to support business increases or decreases
Facilitate process improvement, streamlining of costs, to increase the quality of procurement, logistics, and materials management
