Responsibilities

  • Research, select, and purchase quality products and materials.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
  • Process purchase requisitions, track and report status, escalate with suppliers as needed to ensure timely delivery.
  • Accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of purchase orders executed in terms of quantities, accounting, costs, and supplier delivery commits.
  • Work with suppliers to manage shipment performance and address issues.
  • Leverage ERP tools and processes to drive improved efficiency.
  • Participate in teams to develop/improve business processes as a functional representative.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of applicable experience in high-tech manufacturing environment, preferably with ERP/MRP systems experience.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills in working with peers, internal customers, and suppliers.
  • Intermediate capability with MS Excel and MS Word to manage/summarize data and provide reports.
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced, dynamic, team environment.
