About The Position

The Buyer / Planner & Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator is responsible for executing day-to-day procurement, material planning, and logistics coordination activities that support global manufacturing operations. This role manages purchase order execution through the ERP/MRP system, maintains supplier and pricing data, supports inventory accuracy, and coordinates logistics activities including shipment tracking and tariff validation. The position works closely with internal global teams, suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely material availability, accurate system data, cost control, and proactive communication across the supply chain. This role is highly execution-focused and critical to improving global supply chain visibility and responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and purchasing/planning workflows.
  • Working knowledge of procurement, inventory management, expediting, and cycle counting.
  • Basic understanding of global logistics, shipment tracking, and trade compliance concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate problems and present solution options.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Bachelor’s Degree a Plus.
  • 3+ years relevant Supply Chain work experience - Procurement, planning/ Scheduling in an ERP systems environment preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute.
