Responsible for managing the procurement and planning of materials, ensuring that inventory levels meet production and operational needs by analyzing demand forecasts, negotiating with suppliers and coordinating with internal teams. Responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and supply continuity. Requirements

  • Experience in buying, planning, and scheduling functions
  • Knowledge of master production scheduling and planning techniques
  • Understanding of production product structure (routers and BOM)
  • Experience with capacity and resource management
  • ERP system experience
  • Ability to comply with BD quality policies, procedures, and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • JDE system experience
  • Medical device industry experience
  • Knowledge of business and supply chain strategy
  • Understanding of demand management and forecasting
  • Experience with process improvement and lean/six sigma methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Analyze raw material dashboards (MRP tools) to identify and execute necessary actions
  • Manage purchase orders for site goods and services (creation, modification, cancellation)
  • Track open purchase orders and communicate impacts
  • Manage site incoming inspection priority list and expired materials process
  • Serve as key contact for material and supplier-related issues
  • Lead escalation of supply risks and disruptions to leadership
  • Track material costs, analyze price variances, and collaborate on supplier negotiations
  • Manage site cycle count process
  • Create, track, and update site production schedules based on master supply signals
  • Establish, measure, monitor, and adjust capacity levels
  • Maintain planning parameters in systems and implement level-loading plans
  • Contribute to long-term planning and forecasting activities
  • Process supplier change requests and support accounts payable inquiries
  • Coordinate JDE supplier creation/changes as the system subject matter expert
  • Support warehouse activities as needed
