About The Position

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world! Responsibilities: Planning and scheduling production materials. Order placement of production materials, services and equipment. Management of open orders to expedite / push out as production schedule requires. Price negotiations. Supplier Development. Assist with inventory control and reduction plans for FGI and Raw Materials. Member of the new product development team representing Purchasing. Assist inventory control personnel to resolve inventory conflicts / discrepancies. Initiate and maintain planning parameters (safety stock, lead-times etc.) in ERP system. Inter-company communications on material status as required. Acts as key contact for vendors. Purchases office supplies. Reviews material requirements and orders as needed. Works with planner on unforeseen requirements. Assists Engineering Department to procure materials not yet required by production. Assists Maintenance, Tooling as well as Production Department in purchasing auxiliary equipment, shop supplies, and other items as required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required APICs certification, a plus 1-2 years or more of relevant experience Knowledge and principles of production planning and scheduling processes. Functional knowledge of lean production and inventory management principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically word and excel. Requirements

1-2 years or more of relevant experience
Knowledge and principles of production planning and scheduling processes.
Functional knowledge of lean production and inventory management principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically word and excel.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
APICs certification, a plus
SAP materials management and production planning proficiency is preferred.
