About The Position

Overview We are seeking a Buyer – Manufacturing to focus on domestic procurement operations at our Columbus, Ohio headquarters. In this role, you will be the direct link between our local manufacturing floor and a network of U.S.-based suppliers. Your primary mission is to ensure the steady flow of high-quality raw materials and components needed to keep our domestic production lines running at peak efficiency. The Buyer - Manufacturing position is full time, onsite at our Columbus, OH headquarters. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Sponsorship is not available for this position. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or MRP within a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and experience with ERP/MRP systems
  • Proven ability to multitask, solve problems quickly, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Analyze inventory and demand to drive purchasing decisions for manufacturing components and subassemblies
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving delivery, quality, or financial discrepancies in real-time
  • Utilize ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics) to manage procurement records, lead times, and SKU data
  • Work directly with the manufacturing and warehouse teams in Columbus to optimize stock flow and adapt to changing schedules
