The Buyer – Indirect Procurement is responsible for executing PO’s, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of indirect goods and services (e.g., IT, marketing, facilities, professional services) within a center-supported organization. This role supports compliance with corporate procurement policies and collaborates with stakeholders to meet business needs while optimizing total cost of ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in indirect categories.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier negotiation.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems (Coupa) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a center-supported procurement model and collaborate across multiple business units.
  • This position may require occasional travel to supplier sites or company locations (up to 10%).

Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase orders, supplier onboarding, and contract compliance for indirect spend.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risk for non-contract spend.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with center-supported governance policies.
  • Support supplier performance reviews and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
  • Analyze spend data to identify opportunities for consolidation and process improvement.
  • Assist in implementing procurement systems and tools for indirect purchasing efficiency.
