About The Position

TK Elevator is currently seeking a Buyer II in Atlanta, GA. The Buyer II position is part of the MFG & Procurement Operations group and works with internal stakeholders and suppliers to procure and realize savings for goods and services. Purchasing assignments typically include sourcing of materials to support branch deliverables. The position will adhere to and communicate Procurement & Supply chain policies and procedures during the purchasing process. The position will reconcile service and technical issues with vendors and manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Request competitive quotes via eRFX for adhoc field requests and negotiate savings in conjunction with the Field team.
Review purchase requisitions for completeness and place orders with approved suppliers.
Ensuring that executed Purchase Orders are closed in accordance with the agreed KPI.
Complies with contract & sourcing strategies for the execution of purchases including directing spend to established contracts or agreements..
Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools to maximize contribution.
Foster close working relationships with branches and other internal stakeholders.
Evaluate facts surrounding purchase order-related problem areas, determine the most appropriate remedial actions, and implement such actions through available means.
Receive, analyze, and resolve supplier inquiries, service issues, disputes, and payment discrepancies.
Follow up on purchase orders until PO closure. To include change order processing, contractual compliance and invoice processing.
Any other duties as may be assigned.
