In this role, you will support strategic sourcing, analyze cost drivers, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely flow of materials that keep our production operations running efficiently. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or related fiel (CPIM certification accepted in lieu of a degree)
  • 3+ years of procurement experience
  • Experience with SAP
  • Strong understanding of machined parts, sheet metal, and structural assembly manufacturing
  • Strong supplier‑management capabilities
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must meet Export Control (ITAR/EAR) requirements — U.S. Person status required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of aerospace or automotive industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and execute the movement of direct materials (parts, components, finished goods).
  • Manage relationships with assigned suppliers and drive performance improvements.
  • Identify material requirements based on engineering specs and production schedules.
  • Prepare and release RFQs, negotiate pricing, and execute contracts.
  • Analyze cost factors to determine lowest total cost while maintaining quality and reliability.
  • Review proposals, recommend suppliers, and maintain procurement records.
  • Approve purchases within pricing thresholds; escalate higher pricing for approval.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure accurate material flow.
  • Support cost‑reduction projects and contribute to procurement strategy.
