Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1-3 years of operations experience.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods, materials, and services that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Request and evaluate supplier quotations.
• Generate purchase orders that comply with company requirements.
• Communicate any supply problems which may impact our business operations.
• Act as the interface between suppliers and other departments at Gentex.
• Identify risks and escalate issues when appropriate for mitigation.
• Monitor market trends and advise organization with issues that may present risk or an opportunity to Gentex.
• Develop and implement cost reductions to ensure favorable Purchase Price Variance (PPV) targets are achieved.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure two-way professional relationships exist.
• Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.
