About The Position

Responsible for providing luxury suite guests with information and exceptional service to accommodate and ensure a successful visit. He/she will be hospitable and has a sincere desire to provide the best possible service for each guest. Acts in a professional manner. Anticipates as well as expedites, organizes as well as implements, delegates as well as does. The Butler is most often the first and last point of contact for the guest and is regarded as a true ambassador for the property. Promotes positive guest relations by proving high quality service. Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes. $16 - $17.00 per hour

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required. College education preferred.
  • Previous Butler experience preferred
  • Food and Beverage experience in hotel industry essential.
  • Excellent personal appearance and ability to present oneself.
  • Butlers must be prompt, courteous and organized, honest, trusting and trust-worthy, friendly, but not familiar, and reliable.
  • Highly self-motivated, dynamic personality. Excellent human relations skills.
  • Must be highly flexible and committed to adapt to schedule changes and demands.
  • Food and Beverage experience in hotel industry essential.
  • NJ CER LICENSE REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Prepares guest’s room prior to arrival
  • Greets all luxury suite guests, making them feel welcome and sees to their needs.
  • Provides and sets-up complete travel and sight-seeing itineraries and full concierge services such as haircutting and styling, manicure, etc., arranges for laundry and dry-cleaning services, arranges for dinner parties, entertainment, receptions, reservations and other services upon request
  • Greets Butler customers at various Hotel locations, suite assignments, amenity and room service food & beverage orders, and restaurant and transportation reservations.
  • Serves meals, snacks, cocktails to guests.
  • Coordinates the activities of assigned food, beverage, hotel and other personnel whose services may be required.
  • Assists guests in unpacking, packing and the selection and care of their wardrobe (upon request).
  • Remains immediately available during assigned shift to respond to guests needs.
  • Communicates all requests to the appropriate departments to ensure customer satisfaction. These departments may include and not limited to; VIP Check-in, Front Desk, Bell Desk, Doorperson, Culinary, etc.
  • Effectively communicates any pertinent changes in gaming trip plans to appropriate marketing and support personnel. Must be knowledgeable of all Casino/Hotel areas and daily operating brief.
