About The Position

The Villa Service Butler is responsible for providing exceptional personalized service to all Villa Suite guests. A Butler sets priorities, anticipates needs, and simultaneously manages multiple tasks while being detail orientated and courteous. A Butler proactively seeks new ways to impress our VIP guests, creates solutions to problems, and reacts to requests, comments, or challenges efficiently and according to company standards. A Butler is well-organized and conducts him/herself with integrity and accountability at all times.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Food and Beverage experience preferable in gourmet fine dining.
  • Good knowledge of food service, wine, and bartending skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
  • Respectful and courteous team player.
  • Positive, 'whatever it takes' attitude and ability to maintain a positive attitude during stressful periods.
  • Open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts and ways of approaching guests and coworkers.
  • Excellent communication skills and effective listening skills with strong decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, management, and other employees; additional foreign language a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and be detail oriented while maintaining service integrity.
  • Availability to work all shifts and days, with willingness to work beyond the average work day of 8 hours.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times regarding guests and staff.
  • Well groomed and professional appearance.
  • Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and able to perform all essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and setting-up arrival Villas/Suites and/or Gaming Salons according to guest or Host preferences.
  • Ensuring all Villa/Suite set-ups, inspections, tours, and restocks are completed according to Villa Services standards.
  • Greeting and escorting guests to and from their Villa/Suite and their preferred destinations.
  • Performing and facilitating all valet services including but not limited to: unpacking/packing luggage, logging laundry and dry cleaning, pressing and steaming and shoe polishing.
  • Arranging all in-room or Spa and Salon services.
  • Responsible for all Food & Beverage services in the Villas/Suites and Gaming Salons including: picking-up, delivering, and serving food & beverage orders; bartending; bussing; organizing and coordinating cocktail events or receptions.
  • Coordinating transportation pick-ups or drop-offs and procuring off-property guest requests.
  • Arranging all Concierge and Business Service needs including: booking dinner, spa, salon, golf and show reservations; setting up laptop, printer, or Wi-Fi connections; packaging and shipping; photocopy and printing.
  • Initiating and engaging in conversation in a professional and friendly manner while maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Actively communicating and assisting all supporting departments to gain entry to the guest rooms as needed and reporting guest issues or requests and following up to ensure completion.
  • Communicating information received from guests, hosts, peers, and management in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintaining the Wynn standards of service with guests and co-workers at all times.
  • Looking for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times.
  • Ensuring the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas and maintaining a safe and pristine work environment for all.
  • Understanding safety is a priority and always following department and company safety and health code standards.
  • Knowing and adhering to Wynn policies and procedures, embracing company culture, and taking pride in the Resort and amenities.
  • Being well-versed in the Resort and Hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities, and events available to guests.
  • Attending required meetings and training classes and incorporating knowledge gained into daily work practices.
  • Performing all other job related duties as assigned.
