Paradise Locker Meats (PLM) is seeking full-time employees to fill BUTCHER/MEAT CUTTER FRESH PROCESSING positions. Monday – Friday hours with probable overtime – NO WEEKENDS! On a daily basis livestock is processed, cut, packaged and shipped via truck and via FedEx. The day-to-day operations at PLM can be challenging and difficult as PLM customers include the most demanding and celebrated chefs. Requirements

• Experience keeping a sharp knife
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to follow directions
• Be able to stand for 10 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely conduct the cutting and sawing of meat products in the processing room while ensuring accuracy and quality of the product being produced, and assist with other miscellaneous duties in the processing room.
• Communicate with packaging assistant to insure correctness of all orders
• Prepare all USDA and company paperwork for the processing operation
• Assist in training of meat cutters and assistant cutters
• Perform meat cutting duties
• Perform other miscellaneous duties on the processing floor
• Assist in other departments as needed
