The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. We are looking for Busway Material Handler IV to join our team on 3rd shift! This position will be based at our Roebuck, SC manufacturing site.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of sit down and stand-up industrial trucks.
  • Knowledge on all the operations of the assembly/fabrication/process of the area.
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Ability to safely reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material.
  • Ability to complete a 1/4 mile walk within 7 minutes.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, push/slide/pull heavy material.
  • Be able to operate forklift/walk-behind lift.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, cross-train and multi-task.
  • Bolting, screwing, fastening parts together with hand and/or powered tools.
  • Weatherstrip splice plates and sub-assembly prep.
  • Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. manual and powered sit-down and stand-up industrial trucks).
  • Enforce 5S, 7 wastes and other lean principles in the team/area.
  • Conduct cycle counts as needed.
  • Responsible to accommodate requests of Busway and Fabrication personnel.
  • Read diagrams, spreadsheets for parts to ASC operation.
  • Utilize SAP and WM data management program to look up parts.
  • Provide support on the assembly line as an operator as needed.
  • Perform other work as directed by Supervision.
