About The Position

As A Busser, you are primarily responsible for maintaining a clean environment for the guests in the hotel restaurant. You will provide a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. You will also assist our guests with refilling drinks and running food throughout the shift.

Requirements

Previous experience preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in a fast-paced environment a plus.
Proven work experience, hotel level food serving preferred.

Responsibilities

Be able to clear and clean tables in a efficient and timely manner.
Be able to maintain a clean and organized dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, and restocking condiments and other supplies.
Communicate effectively with servers and other dining room staff to ensure smooth operation of service.
Be able to assist in other departments within the restaurant when needed.
Be able to grasp, lift, carry, and move large bus trays of food, plates, utensils, and glasses weighing a maximum of 20 lbs. on a continuous schedule.
Be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Continuously clear used glasses, dishes, and silverware from the dining room tables, bar top, and lounge area, and transport them to the dishwashing area.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to dining room service.
Set up and clean down tables between customers, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning, and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
Monitor the floor spaces for needed sweeping, reconfiguring of furniture, spills, etc.
Assist food servers in delivering food and drinks to guest tables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
