About The Position

We are seeking outgoing, skilled, and service-driven seasonal part-time Bussers to join our team to work during Jungle Island's Survivor Immersive Experience. The Busser is in charge of pre-setting & clearing tables and assisting servers as a food runner, as wel as run additional stock to and from the warehouse, providing a clean and tidy environment for patrons. Their duties include removing used dishes, re-setting silverware and filling beverages for diners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance speed, service, and professionalism will help elevate the overall fan experience during every event. Hosts must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. Scheduling for this position may vary depending on event requirements and can occur any day, Monday through Sunday, including daytime and evening hours. This is a seasonal role from January 20, 2026 and will end on April 20, 2026. This role will pay a flat hourly rate of $16.00. This position will remain open until April 20, 2026. The Survivor Experience - The Survivor Ultimate Fan Cafe at Jungle Island is a limited-time, immersive experience created to celebrate the show’s 50th season. Designed as an interactive playground for fans, it features themed challenges, recreations of iconic Survivor moments, and exclusive Survivor merchandise. The cafe captures the excitement and competition of the show while offering a fun, comfortable environment—allowing fans to feel like contestants without the extreme conditions of island survival.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Weekend availability
  • Must be 18 or over
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 6 month or more previous experience prefered

Responsibilities

  • Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins from tables after diners are done eating
  • Setting fresh utensils, napkins, plates, glassware, etc. on tables in anticipation of incoming guests
  • Wiping up water spills, food stains and dirt from tables and floors
  • Straightening out the tablecloth or replacing stained ones
  • Refilling paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and any other depleted condiments on the dining table and other side work as assigned
  • Refilling drinking glasses with water
  • Bringing out meal orders if servers need assistance
  • Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day
  • Running additional stock to and from the warehouse to the event spaces as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
