The Busser is a key player in enhancing our guests’ dining experience, responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized dining area. This role supports the service team by ensuring that tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, be well-organized, and possess excellent situational awareness. Requirements

  • Experience in efficiently clearing and resetting tables, and transporting dirty dishes to the designated areas.
  • Available to effectively manage a section of tables.
  • Ability to safely maneuver furniture such as chairs, tables, highchairs, and booster seats.
  • Proficient in using all necessary cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills for following verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Able to work in tight, noisy, and varying temperature conditions.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand and walk during the entire shift, navigating through potential hazards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering a superior dining experience by exceeding guest expectations and anticipating their needs.
  • Provide a friendly greeting to guests with a warm, sincere smile.
  • Handle guest challenges with tact and patience, ensuring issues are resolved to the guest’s satisfaction.
  • Support the service team by assisting with the setup, service, and cleanup of food and beverages.
  • Adhere to all service protocols, including managing special dietary needs and allergy precautions.
  • Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations, following all cleaning and sanitation procedures.
  • Complete all tasks according to the guidelines and standards set out in the Employee Handbook.
  • Work cooperatively with all team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and ensure efficient operations.
