Summary: As a Busser at Tavernonna, you play a critical role in the guest experience by supporting servers and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room. Your work helps ensure tables turn smoothly, service stays efficient, and guests feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Requirements

  • Previous busser, food runner, or restaurant support experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Team-oriented attitude with a positive, professional demeanor
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
  • Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the restaurant

Responsibilities

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
  • Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread or shared items, and responding to guest needs
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas
  • Stock and restock supplies including glassware, silverware, linens, and plates
  • Support smooth table turns during peak service times
  • Communicate with servers and hosts regarding table status
  • Remove trash and recyclables as needed throughout the shift
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and company standards
  • Assist with opening and closing side work
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to support overall service flow
