Summary: As a Busser at Tavernonna, you play a critical role in the guest experience by supporting servers and maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining room. Your work helps ensure tables turn smoothly, service stays efficient, and guests feel comfortable throughout their visit.
Requirements
- Previous busser, food runner, or restaurant support experience preferred (but not required)
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive, professional demeanor
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods
- Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Willingness to learn and grow within the restaurant
Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread or shared items, and responding to guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas
- Stock and restock supplies including glassware, silverware, linens, and plates
- Support smooth table turns during peak service times
- Communicate with servers and hosts regarding table status
- Remove trash and recyclables as needed throughout the shift
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and company standards
- Assist with opening and closing side work
- Complete additional tasks as assigned to support overall service flow
