Our Bussers play a vital role in delivering the Spinato’s Experience by ensuring the dining room remains clean, organized, and flowing smoothly for both guests and the service team. Bussing may seem simple, but it is essential to guest satisfaction and restaurant efficiency. A well-maintained table and a smoothly running dining room allow us to seat guests promptly, deliver food hot and fresh, and create a positive, welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented team players who take pride in their work and understand how their role supports the entire Front of House team.
Requirements
- Current Food Handler Certification (required).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly throughout the dining room.
Responsibilities
- Remove dirty dishes and trash from tables and transport them to the dish station.
- Clean and reset tables, chairs, floors, and surrounding areas quickly and thoroughly.
- Pre-bus tables by removing unused items between courses.
- Reset tables with clean plates, silverware, and fresh condiments.
- Communicate with the Host/Hostess when tables are clean and ready to be sat.
- Assist ESPs (servers) with guest needs, refills, and table maintenance.
- Support the dining room during high-volume periods and help resolve bottlenecks.
- Back up other Front of House positions as needed to ensure smooth service.
