About The Position

The Busser will play an important role in ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly in accordance with established procedures and sanitation guidelines so they are available for prompt use

Requirements

Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
High School education or equivalent
A minimum of two months of on-the-job training or related experience
Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification that is current and valid for a minimum of at least 6 months
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
A team player with good communication skills
Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
Lift and carry 50 lbs., carry and balance plates, carry kegs, wine and beer cases as necessary
Stand for periods of 8-10 hours
Communicate clearly in verbal and written English
Bend, squat and stretch in areas of limited space to perform cleaning, organization, and other duties
Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, smoke, and sound. Incumbents are at times subject to hazards such as chemicals; proper safety precautions will be taken. This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather Proper clothing is provided

Responsibilities

Ensure that items are fully stocked, and equipment is in good working condition
Strong knowledge and consistent use of SNHD regulations and standards
Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team
Consistently maintains clean and safe work area for self and other team members
Participate in seamless operation between BOH + FOH staff members ensuring proper service to our guests
Perform to high standards of excellence, execution, and cleanliness
Always keep your active SNHD Food Handler's card with you while on property
Execute proper health and safety protocols while operating equipment, handling food, storing food, maintaining temperature & time control logs, and sanitizing as dictated by the SNHD
Report health and safety incidents and concerns directly to leadership in an accurate and timely manner
Contribute to successful SNHD health inspections
Monitor and ensure cleanliness of all place settings, tabletops, seats, and floor
Perform customer service duties as assigned (such as beverage and plate service)
Communicate with cashier and servers for needs and any guest service issues
Actively participate in all scheduled required training sessions
Other duties as assigned
