About The Position

The busser position is very important to the department and the mountain. Bussers maintain a clean environment in and around guest areas and are the front line of cleanliness and what guests see. They bridge the gap between guests and our in-house recycling program and assist with restaurant opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Oregon Food Handler's Card.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Some computer knowledge to cross-train on the Point-of-Sale Computer System.
• Ability to continuously lift 50+ pounds and walk long periods while carrying heavy bussing containers.
• Positive attitude, flexibility with hours and days of work, and ability to work any hour of the day, any day of the week.
• Proactive with all cleaning/bussing duties, ability to work well under pressure, quick learner, and ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Some High School education, Diploma or GED preferred.
• Kitchen/restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resets tables according to the specifications of the restaurant.
• Removes plates and silverware when all guests have finished.
• Sort individual rubbish items into respective recycling receptacles.
• Sort service ware and prep for dishwasher.
• Sets up and breaks down for each shift.
• Maintains service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout the shift.
• Performs all opening and closing side work as required.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Refill water stations and help keep guest areas properly stocked.
• Accountable for accurate timekeeping. Responsible for clocking in and out with employee passes.
• Complete any reasonable task assigned by the supervisor.
• Observe mountain-wide policies found in the Employee Handbook.
