About The Position

At Over Easy, we are bright, energizing, and real. We seek to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests. As a Busser, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. Your role will involve removing plates and glassware that guests no longer need, taking tableware to the dish area, and assisting the dishwasher. You will also clean and clear tables between seatings, inspect restrooms, and assist servers during busy periods.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and management.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• At least 16 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Remove plates and glassware that guests no longer need.
• Take tableware to the dish area and place silverware, dishes, and glassware in appropriate areas for washing.
• Assist dishwasher by removing remaining food into appropriate waste bins and maintaining a clean dishwashing station.
• Clean and clear tables between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs, and booths.
• Check the floor and clean as required.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
