About The Position

Parkwest Casino is looking for an experienced Busser /Front of the House (Busperson). Functions as an integral part of the F&B team by keeping all food and beverage outlets common areas clean, supplied and well stocked. Requirements

• Must be able to carry a radio and cart for cleaning supplies daily.
• Must pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test.
• Must be 21 yrs plus of age.
• Must possess a California Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant equipment, utensils and procedures.
• Able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and co-workers.
• Available for scheduled work which may include weekends and evening scheduling; and ready for all programs and activities. Able to work varied shifts and flexible schedules.
• Able to communicate clearly with team members.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to work within a team and respond to quick changes in priority.
• Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, G.E.D, or equivalent preferred.
• One year experience in a kitchen of comparable quality preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Busses all tables from food and beverage outlets common areas.
• Discards all used disposable supplies from tables, countertops and returns all silverware, glasses and chinaware to the dishwashing area.
• Ensures that all common areas - tables, chairs, countertops, cabinets, equipment, refrigerators, coffee machines, soda machines and other F&B equipment is clean, sanitized and maintained.
• Duties include hot water flushing all beverage machines.
• Makes and replenishes coffee and fills up soda machine with ice on all common areas.
• Support the team by anticipating and providing help as needed.
• Understand and contribute to setting and improving procedures, work instructions, and responsibilities.
• Shows initiative to get the job done.
• Other job related duties as assigned.
