About The Position

Job Overview: As a Food Runner, you'll be responsible for opening and closing procedures, table service, food prep, cleaning, cash handling and inventory.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• At least 1 year kitchen experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills required
• Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift 30 - 50 lbs.
• Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and deliver food and drinks, answer questions regarding menu and drink selections.
• Work closely with wait, bar staff and kitchen to ensure the restaurant is operated efficiently.
• Prepare restaurant for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils
• Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs.
• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
• Other duties as required.
