About The Position

Desert Mountain Club has moved from a gratuity-based wage structure to a higher flat-dollar wage structure for all hourly Food & Beverage positions. Our bussers will start at $19.50 per hour or more depending on experience. This is a guaranteed year-round wage, based on hours worked, without fluctuations in pay due to business levels or seasonality. You will also have the opportunity to advance in pay and position based on merit and performance through annual merit increases and the career ladder (various levels in each position based on performance, skills, knowledge, etc.) In this role, you will play a key role in executing an exceptional experience for the restaurant's guests and members! You will be responsible for assisting the restaurant servers by providing positive guest interactions in a friendly and efficient manner, clear and clean tables, appropriately stocking all areas of the restaurant, and running food. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A passion for delivering an excellent guest experience is required. Prior restaurant and/or country club experience is a plus. Be part of something new, exciting, and beautifully reimagined. Lunch - 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dinner - 4:30-9 p.m.

Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Prior restaurant and/or country club experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Reset tables and ensure tables and chairs are free of food particles and water spots. Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each.
Remove dirty dishes from dining room and carry them to the dishwashing area.
Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice and any other items that may be needed.
Check on tables during service hours and provide water refills and clearing of dishes. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to server as needed.
Pour coffee, replenish rolls and butter.
Remain on dining room floor to be available and visible as much as possible.
Assist in function set-up and tear-down.
Assist with food delivery, as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.
