About The Position

The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel will also have over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by ensuring quick, efficient, and professional Utility Attendant services.

Requirements

1 year of experience in a similar position preferred.
Must possess a valid Servsafe certification, or have the ability to obtain a valid Servsafe certification
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires repetitive motion.
May work both indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

Perform all essential job duties according to Omni standards
Ensure compliance on attendance and punctuality standards
Follow all uniform standards
Properly set up and break down of restaurant
Ensure complete understanding of service standards
Ensure a complete understanding of the menu
To deliver food and beverage accurately to tables and in a timely manner
To comply with food handling standards
Deliver food to all sections of the restaurant and bar
To complete all assigned duties before checking out with leadership
Inspecting and stocking assigned station in the restaurant to ensure that it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation
Station set-up and breakdown/side-work
Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager
