About The Position
Limelight Hotels by Aspen One provide authentic and contemporary connections to their communities and the adventures that surround them. Set in the heart of elevated and unique locations, each Limelight hotel is carefully designed with distinctive design and purposeful functionality, created to evoke a sense of place and a point of view. Current locations include those across Colorado in Aspen, Snowmass, Denver, and Boulder (opened August 2025); Ketchum, Idaho; Mammoth, California (opened December 2025); and Charleston, South Carolina (coming in 2028). The Busser / Barback is responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant facility by clearing/wiping tables, stocking products, performing housekeeping functions and engaging with our guests to ensure their needs are met. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
- Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers
- Proficient written and verbal communication English skills
- Ability to work under stressful circumstances
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
- Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals
Nice To Haves
- Prior guest service experience is preferred
- Prior work experience in a restaurant is preferred
- Spanish a plus
Responsibilities
- Responsible for following designated opening/closing procedures for the restaurant, to include housekeeping functions for restaurant, bar, and restroom areas
- Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock
- Complete side work duties to ensure the restaurant is ready for service
- Engage with guests, helping as needed to ensure their needs are met
- Clean and clear tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of bus stations to include removal of trash, recycling, composting
- Move tables, chairs, bus stations to facilitate housekeeping
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist elsewhere as business volumes and staff levels demand
- Other duties as assigned
