About The Position

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino is looking for a dedicated individual to support the smooth operation of its restaurant. Under the direction of the F&B General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, clearing and resetting tables, and assisting wait-staff to ensure high-quality service to guests. This role is essential in providing the rock star treatment that the Seminole Hard Rock family is known for, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in high volume food service, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
• Excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality with a professional appearance.
• Good guest service skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clearing tables by removing dirty dishes, silverware, and glasses.
• Resetting tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and napkins.
• Refilling condiments, napkins, and other table essentials.
• Delivering food and beverages when servers are busy.
• Assisting servers with tasks like clearing plates and refilling drinks.
• Wiping down tables and chairs, mopping floors, and vacuuming.
• Polishing silverware and glassware.
• Ensuring a sufficient supply of napkins, utensils, and other necessary items at service stations.
• Following restaurant health and safety regulations to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Cleaning the dining area at the end of the shift, including stacking chairs and preparing stations for the next day.
• Informing servers of table availability and guest needs.
• Assisting with dishwashing by scraping, stacking, or loading dishes into the dishwasher.
• Promoting positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performing all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
