About The Position

The Business Unit Manager for Parker Hannifin Aerospace Group is responsible for leading the Oil Conveyance division within the Gas Turbine Fuel Systems. This role focuses on achieving the objectives set by the corporation's WIN Strategy, managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) performance, and developing world-class manufacturing operations. The manager will maintain close contact with customers to understand their needs and ensure operational efficiency through various strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Five to ten years of related experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of management and marketing principles, industry practices, company and competitor products, technology, and service capabilities.
  • Knowledge of business and operational processes; proposal development, contract negotiations, and program management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others, typically acquired through ten or more years of increasing experience and responsibility including prior leadership and/or program management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using effective problem-solving skills and a team focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow the Business Unit consistently and annually.
  • Establish and maintain premier customer service.
  • Lead strategy deployment for the business unit focusing on Lean Initiatives, Strategic Pricing, and Strategic Procurement.
  • Accountable for driving Lean Initiatives, Strategic Procurement, and Strategic Pricing initiatives throughout the operation.
  • Develop a budget plan and manage the business unit within budget constraints.
  • Maintain familiarity with the competitive environment within the geographical area of responsibility.
  • Represent the operation at the Business Unit and Division levels.
  • Provide leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development.
  • Ensure that the business unit conforms to local, state, and federal government regulations.
