About The Position

The Business Unit Manager - MEPS will be primarily responsible for the strategic development and growth and overall operational performance of Dewberry's Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural (MEPS) business unit in Raleigh, North Carolina. Priority will be on building capacity, talent, new services, and growing the client base in the Southeast Region. The successful candidate will be a Professional Engineer with a diverse background and evidence of strong advancement in management responsibilities. The candidate will have demonstrated expertise and success in managing and motivating multiple discipline teams, developing, and executing client and business development strategies that drive revenue and profit margin growth, and partnering with internal and external partners. The selected candidate must understand and have in-depth public and private sector market knowledge and experience, and client relationships in the Southeast Region. Requirements

Minimum 18 years of directly applicable experience as a MEPS consulting engineer.
Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in managing diverse MEPS engineering teams and a lead operational role with P&L responsibilities.
Thorough understanding of the Southeast market; strong relationships with decision-makers in public agencies and/or relationships with private entities.
Bachelor of Engineering Degree; advanced engineering degree a plus.

Active involvement in leadership of industry organizations. Interest and ability to present at conferences and lead teams to participate in brand-elevating activities.
