As the Business Unit Assistant Controller , you’ll own the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of internal financial reporting while partnering closely with senior leadership to support critical business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA a plus)
  • 5+ years in Accounting and/or Financial Analysis
  • Experience in public company accounting and SOX controls strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions in complex, fast-moving environments
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and change-management skills
  • High ownership mindset with pride in performance and impact
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt in a high-growth setting

Responsibilities

  • Lead preparation of monthly internal financial reports , including P&L and free cash flow variance analysis
  • Drive a best-in-class financial close and reporting process across Ultrapure operating entities
  • Serve as the technical accounting lead , partnering with corporate accounting on policy updates and implementation
  • Ensure strong internal controls , with a focus on cash receipts, disbursements, and bank reconciliations
  • Oversee account reconciliation processes in Blackline and certify financial results
  • Support M&A integration and evolving business needs
  • Provide data and support for internal and external audits , resolving findings effectively
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and annual budgeting
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance staff—building strong financial acumen and business partnering skills
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close across all operating units
