About The Position

The BT Sales Manager will play a key role in positioning CASCADA as the premier choice for corporate travel, boutique group gatherings, and wellness-driven events. This role focuses on cultivating and growing individual business travel (IBT) accounts while driving targeted Group sales, ensuring that both segments contribute meaningfully to hotel revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with strong organizational and communication skills, proven success in hospitality sales, and the ability to build lasting client relationships that translate into business. This role requires both strategy and hustle: the ability to uncover new opportunities, nurture existing accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless experiences for our guests and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years of hotel sales experience with emphasis on Business Travel sales; group sales experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to secure business
  • Proficiency with hotel sales systems (Event Temple or Mews a plus), and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners, and to work independently when needed
  • Occasional weekend office coverage, as required

Responsibilities

  • Solicit, develop, close, and manage new and existing IBT and Group business to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Proactively generate business development opportunities through prospecting, outside sales calls, networking, virtual and in-person site visits, client entertainment and participation in industry and community events.
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain strong client relationships with corporate travel managers, corporate buyers, group planners, and local businesses.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to maximize both individual and group hotel revenue.
  • Partner closely with revenue management to optimize rates, availability, and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with operations and event teams to ensure flawless execution of group business and special events.
  • Represent CASCADA at trade shows, client events, and community networking opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales activity reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of CASCADA’s unique offerings, from accommodations to thermal spa to dining and events, in order to promote the property effectively to clientele.
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Sales + Events or Managing Director.
