About The Position

The Finance ACES Black Belt position at Amazon focuses on applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance processes within the organization. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring team members, and ensuring that projects align with customer requirements while delivering cost savings and operational excellence. Black Belts are expected to lead high-impact projects, foster a culture of self-inspection, and contribute to the overall Finance Operations Production System.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead high impact Lean Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, DFSS, Kaizen, FMEA, etc.)
• Mentor Green Belts, Yellow Belts, and Kaizen leaders through their projects.
• Deliver Lean Six Sigma training (Green Belt, Kaizen, etc.)
• Support Finance Operations Production System (FOPS) with continued development of materials, techniques, and metrics.
• Manage a portfolio of improvement projects, including auditing of implemented projects to ensure that process improvements are sustained and benefits are realized.
• Represent Finance ACES in local and global meetings/conference calls and with network-wide projects.
