About The Position

Rockland Trust is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of B2B Marketing Associate. This position will report to the Assistant Vice President of B2B Marketing, and in this role, the individual will have the opportunity to manage several initiatives, including chamber of commerce relationships, material creation, lead generation, events, and contests. This position requires strong management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with multiple moving parts in order to meet numerous, ongoing deadlines. An ideal candidate should be highly motivated, a strategic thinker, creative, organized, and comfortable taking on new tasks and learning new marketing systems. This position requires the ability to work independently as well as on a team, have strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and be able to manage projects from start to finish while staying on task and on budget. This position is on-site in Hanover, Massachusetts, with hybrid flexibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2–3 years’ experience in marketing activities
  • Team- and customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex products and services
  • Organization, with excellent project management skills and follow-through

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud is a plus but not required
  • Experience in financial services is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Work with the B2B department to identify and support customer growth and retention.
  • Support and manage regional sponsored B2B chamber of commerce initiatives and identify areas for growth and awareness
  • Become an integral player in the B2B lead generation strategy, including supporting digital advertising efforts and lead generation initiatives (email, direct mail, etc.)
  • Demonstrate sincere interest and ability to learn CRM and marketing automation tools to assist with reporting, lead management, and communication needs
  • Write, update, and manage sales collateral and identify ways to best present specific offerings and products
  • Support our annual Small Business, Big Dreams contest
  • Assist in the coordination of events for B2B sales colleagues
  • Manage the assignment and distribution of various sporting event tickets
