The primary responsibilities of the Business Systems & Quality Advisor include managing the implementation support for multiple FedEx Global Engineering initiatives, overseeing application and technical support initiatives, providing support plans to business areas to secure funding, and developing metrics to provide visibility into service levels. Essential Functions Project manages and oversees the conceptualization, planning, design, quality assurance, implementation and support of technology solutions. Provides services to multiple internal customers, such as: business expertise, requirements and application design, quality assurance, implementation support and application support. Sets strategy which leads to the transformation of business processes and operational tools to enable global excellence. Leads multiple projects from concept to implementation. Develops and maintains project plans. Communicates project status and performance to management. Manages the requirements and quality assurance phases of multiple FedEx Global Engineering initiatives. Benchmarks and designs business analysis, quality assurance, and implementation support strategies, ensuring adherence to standards and processes. Communicates with mid-level and upper-level management through project updates, presentations, and specific responses. Designs strategies for migrating from implementation support to application support models. Have a proven track record of managing and overseeing the conceptualization, planning, design, quality assurance, implementation, and support of technology solutions. Ability to set strategies that lead to the transformation of business processes and operational tools. Perform other duties as assigned
