About The Position

The Business Systems Architect at Monterey One Water is responsible for developing, maintaining, optimizing, and administering the Agency's business systems. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Six years of increasingly responsible experience in planning, development, installation, implementation, integration, testing, and evaluation of information technology systems.
• Knowledge of advanced systems analysis and project management principles.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and database management.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
• Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, optimize, and administer the Agency's business systems.
• Support business systems applications and code/scripting routines for applications.
• Test and evaluate business systems functionality.
• Research vendor requirements to apply patches and upgrades to business systems applications or platforms.
• Develop end-user reports and query data from business systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to analyze current processes and implement new systems.
• Perform programming duties including modifying delivered code and creating custom code as needed.
• Develop procedures to ensure optimum stability, integrity, access, and response of business systems applications.
