Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of technical bank operations experience.
  • Working knowledge of banking systems and third-party vendor products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other data management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
  • Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
  • Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasionally to other work locations within driving distance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with core banking applications, loan origination systems, or financial applications is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FedLine processing and security.
  • Knowledge of loan processing, ACH, general ledger, and deposit account systems.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate Needs: Analyze internal processes and technical needs to identify effective business system solutions.
  • Translate Requirements: Act as the link between business units and development teams, gathering, documenting, and refining system requirements.
  • Develop Specifications: Create development specifications and functional test cases for new or enhanced system solutions.
  • Test Systems: Analyze results from system tests, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and recommend refinements.
  • Implement Enhancements: Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors to implement system improvements and fixes.
  • Interpret Release Notes: Review system updates and guide business owners in understanding new features and functionality.
  • Manage Incidents: Identify and communicate system issues to internal or vendor support resources and track progress through resolution.
  • Ensure Compliance: Follow regulatory requirements, bank policies, and training standards across all assigned duties.
  • Coach Others: Provide mentorship, training, or serve as a subject matter expert for system-related processes as needed.
