Your Team As a Business Systems Analyst in Group Insurance, you will partner with product owners, tech leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to improve capabilities from Notice of Sale up to Claims. You will act as the interface between Technology and specific business areas, identifying business unit requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets to solve sophisticated business problems, deploy innovative products, services and experiences to delight our customers! Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day Support the Director Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner setting ambitious and clear product vision, and communicating ‘the story’ effectively to key stakeholders and the rest of the team Beginning to identify opportunities to provide input to the team & coach others with guidance Works on solving extremely complex problems in which analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables Collaborate with product owners in understanding needs and defining feature stories, tech leads in defining technical design and other team members to understand the system end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that bring about business impact Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Own the end-to-end product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with product vision Understands the vision and owns aspects of the product management/roadmap activities
