About The Position

IT Credit Risk Team is seeking a highly driven Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements analysis and delivery support within an Agile environment. This role requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and execution discipline to translate business needs into high-quality, actionable requirements that enable successful technology delivery.

Experience in a Business Analyst role performing the above listed responsibilities, including experience with the following artifacts is desirable:
Hands-on experience with GCP/AWS/Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools.
Strong understanding of requirements lifecycle, testing support, and release processes.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
Translate business needs into clear epics, features, and user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and testable scenarios and clear value statements.
Able to analyze and develop business and technical scenarios and use cases that result in comprehensive sprint ready business and technical system support user stories.
Serves as a liaison and knowledge source with stakeholders, Product Owners and team members.
Facilitate sessions to refine user story requirements, acceptance criteria and establish story points with team members.
Work with system of record BSAs and business stakeholders to facilitate and document any source to target data mappings required to provide developers with business rules for dynamic content.
Responsible for working with the cross-impacted team BSAs to identify and escalate impediments to completing requirement definition.
Work with team and business stakeholders to ensure there is a healthy volume of sprint ready user stories to drive backlog health and flexibility.
Participate in the identification, quantification and mitigation of risks and issues.
Review or create process and flow maps to understand how they impact requirements.
Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage backlog, document use cases, and ensure traceability and reporting accuracy.
Ensure sprint readiness by validating that all user stories meet Definition of Ready (DoR) prior to sprint planning.
Maintain a prioritized backlog/book of work, including impact analysis across systems and dependent teams.
Act as a bridge between business and technology, driving clarity, alignment, and timely decision-making.
Actively participate during testing (ST/UAT) with strong testing acumen—ensuring requirements are testable, complete, and aligned with expected outcomes.
Support, Validate and Execute Testing during System Test cycles effectively, reducing defects through clarity and proactive validation.
Support the Business Team with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including validation, defect triage, and stakeholder coordination.
Perform post-release validation in production to ensure successful implementation and business value realization.
Proactively triage production incidents, conduct initial root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate resolution with development teams.
Maintain ADO dashboards and reporting hygiene, ensuring completeness and accuracy of delivery metrics.
Drive organized follow-ups and stakeholder communication for requirement refinement, clarifications, and approvals.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
Independently manage a portion of the backlog with high-quality, sprint-ready user stories
Build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to business, QA, and development teams
Ensure ADO hygiene, dashboard metrics and reporting accuracy, improving visibility into team delivery
Actively contribute to sprint ceremonies with well-prepared and clearly defined requirements
Able to triage production incidents and perform initial RCA and maintain the outstanding active list with plan of action to remediate/ resolve the incidents alongside the coordination with the development team.
Bring structure to the intake process, clarification follow-ups and requirement refinement ensuring the improvement of team efficiency by eliminating wait times blocking the 'sprint ready'' user stories.
Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while understanding the underlying risks to help re-prioritize work.
Able to create new business processes and continuously improve upon existing processes, reports, and methodologies to increase efficiency and quality of deliverables.
Ability to be detail-oriented but also understand and communicate the key messages hidden in the data to face off with various Technology leaders.
