About The Position

Join the Department of Health IT team as a Business Systems Analyst. You will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to administer IT licenses, refine internal processes, and match end users with technology they love. Additionally, as a team member and project manager, you will participate in IT projects to implement effective technical solutions to advance our department's operational excellence. The mission of the Department of Health is to promote the health, well-being, and self-sufficiency of Alaskans. Each member of the Information Technology Services team contributes to this mission by providing technology solutions that are reliable, effective, HIPAA-compliant, and user-friendly.

Requirements

• Experience in analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Knowledge of project management principles and methods.
• Ability to conduct requirements analysis.
• Technical competence in evaluating and advising on technical information.
• Strong written communication skills.
