About The Position

The Business Systems Analyst - Maximo at Bombardier plays a crucial role in ensuring data quality and effective tool usage within the Maximo team. This position involves gathering user needs, analyzing and translating them into system requirements, and supporting the implementation of solutions. The analyst will also coach end users, support testing phases, and communicate project statuses across the organization, all while contributing to the overall business strategies.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in business process modeling, requirements management, analysis, and design.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of IT Change Management and Project Management.
• Familiarity with IT systems and Microsoft systems.
• Planning and organizational skills to prioritize and coordinate tasks.
• Experience in systems analysis and technical design.
• Ability to build use cases, storyboards, and models depicting process flows.
• Experience in building presentations that depict project requirements and scope.
• Understanding of the System Development Life Cycle.
• Training skills to educate employees on business processes.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Maximo software.
• Familiarity with aviation industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first contact for end users and ensure proper data quality and tool usage.
• Gather user needs and translate them into requirements for system enhancements.
• Develop and document current and future business processes.
• Work with development teams to implement solutions and escalate system-related issues.
• Coach and support end users in their day-to-day business activities.
• Support integration and regression testing prior to project go-lives.
• Complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and execution.
• Coordinate and communicate project status to all levels of the organization.
• Support change management in driving process, technology, and behavioral changes.
