About The Position

The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in aligning technology solutions with strategic business goals by collaborating with various business partners. This position involves providing advanced technical support, maintaining knowledge of applications, and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and user experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of related experience.

  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in a Business Analyst role, including creating scope documents, eliciting and documenting functional/non-functional requirements and use cases, and producing process flows using Visio or equivalent tools.
  • Experience facilitating group sessions to gather requirements and asking relevant questions to delve into details.
  • Proven track record of tracking and driving deliverables to completion.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Demonstrated technical skills and the ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with business partners using ServiceNow to understand their needs and facilitate effective communication between business and technical users.
  • Develop a deep understanding of complex business processes and the functional behaviors of assigned applications.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to capture business and user requirements, model and document business processes, and data requirements.
  • Partner with Scrum and Production Support teams to ensure all documented requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered as specified.
  • Lead scope, discovery, and design sessions, and communicate progress and follow-up actions to business partners.
  • Align IT resources and processes to meet the needs of the client organization and design enterprise solutions.
  • Build and execute roadmaps with business partners, ensuring timely delivery within sprint timelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
