Job Summary: The Business Systems Analyst III at Jabil, Inc. plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This position is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing complex business systems to optimize processes and drive efficiency across various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within a manufacturing or global enterprise environment.
  • Proven expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, system design, and implementation methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and other enterprise-level applications (e.g. MES, EAM, PLM, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document detailed business needs from stakeholders, translating them into business requirements documents for development teams.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement, automation, and optimization.
  • Design and develop robust system solutions, including process flows, use cases, and data models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, quality assurance, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
  • Create test plans and perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, and provide ongoing support for implemented systems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including training materials, and user guides.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned business domains and systems, providing guidance and support to end-users.
  • Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and change management activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Jabil's evolving business needs.
