About The Position

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support systems engineering and configuration management activities for a Department of War Systems Engineering & Configuration Management Support Services program. The Business Systems Analyst is an expert in defined business processes and is responsible for formulating system scope and objectives in alignment with organizational business plans and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition and lifecycle requirements. The BSA acts as a member of an integrated project team, providing technical guidance on the business implications associated with the application of enterprise systems and tools. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

  • Must possess IT-II clearance or a current NACLC at time of proposal submission. U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Four (4) or more years of relevant experience supporting business systems analysis or DoD enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting DoD business systems and lifecycle activities.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Significant coursework or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Must hold a Project Management certification (i.e. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project Management certification)
  • DoD Lifecycle Management
  • DoD 5000.1, 5000.2, and Guidebooks
  • PPBE
  • ARIS system engineering tool
  • DAMIR / DAES OSD reporting
  • SAP ERP products

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD enterprise IT programs.
  • Familiarity with configuration and change management.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert in assigned business processes, supporting formulation of system scope and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance on business impacts of enterprise systems.
  • Support DoD lifecycle management activities.
  • Assist in analysis and reporting aligned with DoD 5000-series requirements.
  • Support PPBE processes.
  • Utilize ARIS system engineering tools.
  • Prepare DAMIR and DAES OSD reports.
  • Support SAP ERP-related business systems.
  • Collaborate with Government and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.
